NOW, the magazines movers and shakers of the age, Vanity Fair has become, by many estimates, magazine journalism’s acknowledged arbiter of modern society, power, and personality which with every issue presents the reader with the question.

One thing is certain, the line up is rich and delicious with some notable names deservingly making the list, however just like a group one thoroughbred race there is always a couple of dark stallions who out of nowhere, come through and win the prize !
Let’s take a deep dive look at those who rank in the “trigger my hormones “ competition. This year’s bet ( as I am a betting woman ) is on number 2, Can Yaman, the import with staying power, dark features, mysterious and penetrating eyes with an international backing.
Regé-Jean Page is a British actor best known for his breakout role as “Chicken George” in Roots, as well as Sylvie’s Love. Page will join actress Tessa Thompson in the Amazon Prime original series Sylvie’s Love as an aspiring saxophonist of the 1950’s. Page most recently garnered our attention and titillated our senses in his role as the black Duke of Hastings on Bridgerton, a Netflix period drama produced by Shonda Rhimes.
Can Yaman Is a Turkish actor from Istanbul Turkey with several series known not only throughout Turkey, but also an established and strong presence in Italy and Spain. Fluent in Turkish, Italian and Spanish, Yaman is best known for his work as leading actor in Dolunay and Erkenci Kus. Most recently Yaman signed on the resurrect famous Italian series Sandokan and will star as the lead character. Recently Yaman has taken Italy by storm, appearing in a commercial directed by his mentor, Ferzan Özpetek. Yaman is also rumored to have inked a second deal with Ferzan Oztepek and will appear in a remake of the film Le fate ignoranti in the role of Emir. The 2001 film originally featured the story of a woman who discovered her husband’s affair with another man after his demise in a horrific car accident.
British model Romeo Beckham takes the number three spot on the list. In addition to his print and runway work, Romeo happens to be the son of Victoria and David Beckham. Romeo is best known for his debut cover work on L’Uomo Vogue’s Generation Issue. We have yet to see much of the eighteen year old model but that might change since the Beckam’s recently signed a twenty nine million dollar deal with Netflix which will feature everyday life with the famous family.
Michele Morrone, star of the now infamous 365 Days is in the number four spot. Morrone caused our tongues to wag with his portrayal of Mossimo Torricelli, a sexy mafia crime boss with a penchant for kidnapping and sex on yachts. Seemingly an overnight success, Morrone’s career began in 2011 with his role of Riccardo in the three episode Second Chance. Michele is also a professional guitarist and singer. His debut album featured several songs from the 365 Days Soundtrack.
Actor Jonathan Bailey, co-star of Bridgerton, is also known for his roles in Broadchurch and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Bailey is also a well known stage actor who has performed three plays with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Bailey’s portrayal as Leonardo Da Vinci in 2011’s BBC series Leonardo was well received and reviewed. The open gay star said the following when relaying a story to Queerty about hiding his sexuality to protect his career, ““The most conservative conversations I’ve had about me being honest about my sexuality in this day and age have come from gay men in the industry, ‘oh no, you can’t come out, you shouldn’t really do that.’ They’re either people who work in publicity, or there’s also been casting directors who have put the call into my agent to say, ‘just so that you know, the way that this is going to be sold is that it’s a gay story written by gay writers for gay actors, so by just taking the role…’ This was at a stage where perhaps I was coming to terms with my own sexuality, I hadn’t necessarily hidden it…but I’ve never not been honest about it.” According to IMDB, Bailey will next be seen in the video game Squadron 42 as Adam Seetow.

John David Washington, son of legendary Hollywood actor, Denzel, follows a starring role in Christopher Nolan’s 2020 action film “Tenet” with the January 2021 release of Netflix feature film “Malcolm & Marie”, co-starring Zendaya. Named Breakout Star in IMDB’s 2018 STARmeter Awards, he is best known for his 5 season run on the sports dramedy “Ballers” and for starring in Spike Lee’s film, “BlacKkKlansman”.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin
A former child star who appeared in the Harry Potter films as Tom Riddle, Tiffin’s breakout as an adult came in 2018 when he starred as Hardin Scott in the first of four planned films in a series based on author Anna Todd’s “After” novels. A model as well as actor, Tiffin has appeared in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, H&M, Superdry and the Salvatore Ferragamo fragrance, Ferragamo.
After appearing in Italian films such as “Amore 14”, and “A Fantastic Coming and Going”, for three seasons from 2017-20, Maggio starred as Claudio “Fiore” Fiorenzi a Roman pimp who falls in love with one of his wealthy teenage prostitutes on Netflix’s Italian production “Baby”. After completing the final season of “Baby”, he took part in the Italian-Spanish co-production film, “Ballet Dance” based on the music of Italian singer Raffaella Carra.
